About the Office of Research and Policy
Welcome!
The College of Education and Human Development is a world leader in discovering, creating, sharing, and applying principles and practices of multiculturalism and multidisciplinary scholarship to advance teaching and learning and to enhance the psychological, physical, and social development of children, youth, and adults across the lifespan in families, organizations, and communities.
The Office of Research and Policy (ORP) serves as a resource for the College of Education and Human Development (CEHD) in the key area of research. Research forms the basis for much of our work in CEHD and we are committed to finding ways to help facilitate a broad range of research projects, including interdisciplinary and applied research. The Office of Research and Policy also supports the work of several centers that specialize in evaluation and assessment, educational policy, and sophisticated data analysis.
